The Recruitment Process

The Selection Process

Applications will be sifted to select those demonstrating the best fit with the post against the criteria set out in the person specification. Please ensure you keep this in mind when writing your CV and supporting statement.

The initial sift stage will identify the candidates who will be longlisted. Longlisted candidates will be invited to interview with Global Resourcing at a suitable location.

A second sift stage will identify candidates to progress through the process and those candidates will be invited to meet with the Chief Digital Officer, Neil Williams.

A final stage will invite those shortlisted to meet with Cabinet Members (Head of ICT) or executive management (Senior Delivery Manager, Digital Services). The final interview may require the selected candidates to prepare a presentation, the topic and further details will be confirmed as part of the invitation.

Pre-appointment enquiries

We will carry out enquiries into the successful candidate's nationality, and other matters before a formal offer of appointment is made. Subject to satisfactory completion of the pre-appointment enquiries, you will be invited to take up the post as soon as possible.
