Service Owner - Roadmap, CI, Stakeholders

£500 - £600 per day (inside IR35).

Our customer has identified the need for a Service Owner to take ownership of several identified services and assess the business impact and importance of each one. This requires management from a service perspective and not a technical one.

Responsibilities:

• Operate at scale and provide the connection between multidisciplinary business areas and stakeholders.
• Ensure the necessary business processes are followed.
• Own the governance of the services, including acting as a point of escalation for the delivery teams.
• Own the budget and allocate funding to areas of the service based on decisions about priorities.
• Communicate the benefits and performance of your service.
• Be responsible for the successful operation and continuous improvement of the services.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Service Owner within a DDaT focussed environment.
• Able to ensure services are fit-for-purpose.
• Experience in developing and maintaining service roadmaps.
• Prior budget responsibilities.
• Previous experience of service ownership within the public sector is desirable but not essential.
