New Interim Role – PMO – Project Planner
6-12 month contract
MUST BE SECURITY CLEARED
Consultancy working on a large Government contract
Outside IR35
3 days a week onsite in London or West Country

-Leading and coordinating project planning activities, working collaboratively with stakeholders to support delivery of programme outcomes and expected benefits.

-Promote planning excellence through the application of best practice methods, tools and reporting standards.

-Challenge and validate assumptions to ensure plans are realistic, achievable and aligned to programme objectives.

-Develop work breakdown structures, product descriptions, quality criteria and monitoring approaches to support effective delivery.

-Support optimisation of delivery schedules through resource levelling, resource smoothing and effective activity sequencing.

-Manage planning resources and support the identification, development and deployment of planning capability across the programme.

-Ensure stakeholder requirements, responsibilities and dependencies are accurately reflected within plans and reporting arrangements.

-Build effective relationships across programme, project management and operational teams, as well as with external stakeholders and suppliers, to develop integrated delivery plans.
