International Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the identification, development and negotiations of sales opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Marine markets. Sourcing new business from Oil & Gas projects, competing for and winning business from existing customers and prospects.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Influence EPCs and End Users
  • Work closely with the International Business Development Team to deliver common goals
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of business development activity
  • Identify new customers, end-users and influencers
  • Maintain exceptional client relationships whilst optimising the potential of new revenue channels
  • Develop robust order forecast and opportunity management processes
  • Proactively engage the resources of the business to deliver winning proposals
  • Provide an insight into market dynamics, specifically competitors, stakeholders,  market and product trends
  • Contribute to the development of sector specific marketing proposition that grows sales and identifies how the service offering can be differentiated from the competition.

Experience and track record:

  • Strategic selling of technology systems, products and services between the dynamics of multi layers customers and influencers
  • Developing and winning major capital projects within the Marine and oil & gas sector
  • Negotiating and closing large contracts
  • Driving profitable growth
  • Managing strategic channel partners
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Security solutions experience is desirable but not essential
