The client's Strategy & Operations Team provides major financial institutions and global organizations with customised solutions around their strategy, processes and operations, leveraging on the different strengths of our firm. Their Core System Transformation practice provides advisory and delivery services to their Financial Services Industry (FSI) clients.

The purpose of the role will be to drive the delivery of major transformation programmes for their CST practice. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver  complex package-based transformation programmes for our FSI clients
  • Define the structure of the delivery team and managing the execution of the different work streams
  • Manage the overall budget, working with the project managers to establish baseline and subsequently control burnt against it
  • Defining and enforcing a robust change control process
  • Work with the PMO to define the project management processes required to run the programme
  • Manage 3rd party vendors, ensuring delivery against programme milestones and within agreed budget
  • Act as an escalation point for both the project managers and the 3rd parties
  • Ensure reporting to the programme sponsor, leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage  Stakeholders to ensure that the programme meets the organisation expectations
  • Coach  junior members of the team to support their growth
  • Participate actively to the development of the Core System Transformation practice.

To fit in the role, you also:

  • Hold a Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or IT
  • Have at least 8 years of experience in Finance and banking software consultancy
  • Show in depth knowledge of standard banking processes
  • Demonstrable experience of all aspects of programme management responsibilities as outlined above
  • Show full understanding and ability to leverage package implementation methodologies
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Be fluent in English; German or French are considered as strong assets
  • Be internationally mobile, this position requires frequent travels
  • Ideally show strong knowledge of Temenos T24 modules (e.g. AA)
  • Knowledge of other Temenos solutions such as Triple’A, Insight or T-Connect will be considered as an asset
  • Have Programme/Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PgMP, MSP)
