Global boost management team

International recruitment specialist Global Resourcing, announces its move to become part of Global Resourcing Group, latterly headed by Greg Harris as CEO, who bought the business in 2012. The formation of the Group follows the established strategy of having a niche focus, by delivering a broad range of recruitment solutions via independent specialist entities.

In addition to the already highly successful technology recruiter Global Resourcing, the Group includes two new specialist companies, ComRisk Associates, focusing on compliance and risk, and ForbesHunt, specialising in accountancy and finance. This growth widens the longstanding recruitment expertise in technology, to now formally include a wider corporate services delivery capability and has meant the appointment of multiple new Directors to strengthen its leadership team.

Based in the heart of Croydon’s urban regeneration district and the fast-growing Croydon Tech City cluster, Global Resourcing was founded 21 years ago and is a specialist in the vendor, digital, data and tech sectors. A key factor behind the firm’s success is its track record in recruiting highly specialised digital and vendor technology candidates to a global client base.

Rob Johnson, recently promoted into the position of Managing Director, leads the team of over thirty specialist consultants at Global Resourcing. Rob joined the company in 2013 as Sales Director, with over a decade of success in the recruitment industry, as part of a major growth and change initiative.

To further strengthen Global Resourcing’s leadership, Sarah Luxford, a founding member of the Tech Talent Charter, co-founder of Tech London Advocates’ Women in Tech advocacy group and Croydon Tech City, joins the company as a Director. Sarah was previously a search specialist and diversity advisor, working with clients to identify and source the most diverse talent possible to resolve their emergent technology challenges.

Global Resourcing is also pleased to welcome Phil Walsh to the Board in the role of Sales Director. Phil was previously Head of Contract Recruitment and originally joined Global Resourcing as a trainee over a decade ago, where he has built a global reputation as a leading technology recruiter, whilst supporting wider growth and change across the business.

Complementing the tech specialist recruiter, is ForbesHunt, the group’s accountancy and finance recruitment business, based in St Albans and headed by Jack Cole. Jack was most recently a Managing Consultant at leading recruiter Robert Walters and brings a wealth of recruitment and management experience, not only to ForbesHunt but the wider Group.

ComRisk Associates, the group’s London based compliance and risk management specialists, is now headed by former Global Resourcing Senior Manager, Matthew Vesty. Following a successful period at Global Resourcing, Matthew is now using his expertise and knowledge to develop this new and niche focussed company within the Group.
