As well as the Charity NPF sector, I am delving deeper into Higher Education. Having had conversations with excellent leaders in the space and general findings, it is apparent that it made rather a lot of sense to look at these areas together.
A common thread remains…
Within technology transformation and change, the challenge is not just about upgrading technology but also about cultural shifts within organisations. The wider vision and understanding of how Technology can underpin the overall organisational strategy and objectives is a common theme, understanding that technology is not merely a nice to have or just another financial cost.
Data is key to driving decision making, recognising the full potential of data often requires overcoming silos, improving data governance, and ensuring ethical usage. Using data to ultimately drive organisational decision making, creating efficiencies and producing measurable impact.
A focus on user centricity and engagement is crucial, there is an increasing expectation for seamless, personalised digital experiences, but meeting this demand requires investment in user-friendly platforms, automation, and accessibility and beyond.
I am keen to explore how charities and NFPs can inform the work of universities and vice versa.
