PROJECT MANAGER – BRM, AGILE, DSDM, RUP, SCRUM

The role/client:

Could your skills be used to help improve the way one of the UK’s leading charities operate? As a project manager helping with one of their most exciting programmes of change, you’re main task will be helping to put people in crisis at the heart of everything the charity do. Your role will be to lead and deliver a transformational change programme which they will be able to record and learn from every interaction with those people who use their services in the UK.

Main responsibilities:

  • Overall delivery of the programme on a day-to-day basis.
  • Your primary focus will be on developing and managing a new way to record our interaction with service users, and stakeholder engagement will be critical to success, as will leadership for change.
  • You will need to inspire confidence in the programme, with a strong emphasis on the benefits of change.
  • You will ensure the creation of robust plans are in place for effective implementation, and
  • You will have the ability to drive the programme that has relevance to all our 3,000 UK staff and 20,000 volunteers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of ten years work experience, with a proven track record of significant achievement, in philanthropy or a relevant/related field within the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, including in risk assessment, evaluation of potential for success and in financial budgets;
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation and communications skills.
  • A valid EU/UK working permit is required.
