FINANCE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

My client, a large organisation is looking to hire a qualified finance professional for an exciting and flexible opportunity. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic accountant, looking to share their knowledge to support the development of the current Finance team. This is a brand new role where the main focus will be providing the staff with excellent financial literacy, confidence, capability and competence to ensure their professional development. The successful candidate will also lead communications across the business, such as changes to financial regulations or reporting standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the finance and commercial teams, directors and HR to identify training needs and trends;
  • Proposing and supporting training delivery plans across the organisation;
  • Undertaking both formal and informal assessments, to support decisions about training and development;
  • Working with senior HR staff members to decide the appropriate training source and delivery route, including a significant amount of content production, creation and face to face delivery by the post holder;
  • Developing a varied approach to training and delivering professional accreditation’s where appropriate;
  • Assisting managers with specific training requests;
  • Developing and organising inductions for new starters and refreshers for existing staff
