SALESFORCE BUSINESS ANALYST

About the role:

The role is business facing and will encompass requirements gathering to design secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform, communicating technical solutions and design trade-offs effectively to business stakeholders and providing a delivery framework that ensures quality and success. The candidate will be responsible for the business as usual change and oversight of Salesforce projects supporting the Distribution team.

The Distribution division includes business development staff, marketing and client services team encompassing the complete client lifecycle from prospects to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business to ensure business needs are thoughtfully interpreted and transformed into clear, detailed design requirements against which IT can develop accurate solutions.
  • Design technical architecture solutions that may span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems with a focus on Salesforce
  • Form a deep understanding of the business and provide a business perspective to project teams including precise documentation on systems and business processes
  • Manage own, timelines and milestones and manage communications within Business Systems and the business
  • Liaison between business and in-house technical staff / 3rd party suppliers
  • Development lifecycle experience including implementation planning, testing, training

Personal Skills Required

  • Proven experience and complete understanding of the Salesforce system including Salesforce1. Experience of supporting API solutions and Apex Data Loader.
  • Data analysis and integration professional with knowledge of data migration and master data management. You will have migrated data from single and multiple sources and be confident setting up automated data integration process.
  • Strong knowledge of the client lifecycle from prospect to client
  • Excellent organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with tremendous attention to detail
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills. Must have presence and communicate with clarity, impact, purpose and authority with partners, peers, management and the business
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer systems/applications within the Distributions domain

Systems Knowledge

  • Salesforce (Salesforce.com Service Cloud certification ideally Salesforce Advanced Admin ADM301, Salesforce DEV401)
  • Marketing Collateral solutions
  • SQL Server 2008, query management
  • Eloqua 10 skills preferable

Minimum required language knowledge (speaking+writing):

  • English
